Thomas Attig, PhD, is the recipient of the Association of Death Education and Counseling (ADEC) Death Educator Award for 2015. He is the author of Catching Your Breath in Grief (Breath of Life Publishing, 2012), How We Grieve: Relearning the World (Oxford, Revised Edition 2011) and The Heart of Grief: Death and the Search for Lasting Love (Oxford, 2000) and editor (with Judy Stillion) of Death, Dying, and Bereavement: Contemporary Perspectives, Institutions, and Perspectives (Springer, 2015)..
