Inspirational Quote 4.23.15 Making the Best of It

[Editor: Gilda Radner was among the best comedians of my generation. She died of ovarian cancer at 42 at the peak of her career. I first saw her perform in a stage show that presaged Saturday Night Live. Her death led to the founding of Gilda’s Clubs, a network of affiliate clubhouses where people living with cancer, their friends and families, can meet to learn how to live with cancer, as well as the first registry of ovarian cancer victims.]

I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity.

~ Gilda Radner
